On asylum seekers, Muslims, ‘Islam’

Tim Ford

Well they wont be laughing when they [asylum seekers] cant leave hotel.

Ned Ma

Tim Ford so it is not a hotel if you cannot leave it

Tim Ford

Ned Ma well they shouldn't fkn be there then scrounging c*nts need to fk off back to where they came from taking fkn British taxpayers money best thing they can do is leave the country

Ned Ma

Tim Ford Well, I fundamentally disagree with you because of your language, the myths you have, the bigotry, etc. and the denial. I think by now you are already typing an insult to be hurled at me. Your comment is a nationalistic and a xenophobic one and has nothing to do with how migration in general is treated in a scientific and rational way. So, your extensive skills of using nice vocabulary will be admired by others here. I though see it as an immature language coming from an adult person living in a country with so much academic knowledge, history of migration, wars, empire, quality universities, critical thinking, struggle for rights, questioning the social order…

Tim Ford

Ned Ma well you fkn would wouldn't you . Well its c*nts like you that cause people to use language like this .the British people are sick of asylum seekers illegal immigrants that shouldn't be here come given accommodation in high star hotels given benefits that they haven't paid for ever .I've worked all my life put into the British system what for so these scrounging c*nts can just come here get accommodation and benefits many who are criminals murderers rapists child abusers terrorists fk off we want them gone our kids are not safe in their own country so fk giving these scrounging fkrs accommodation and benefits. No myth facts are shown clearly. Rights we have fkn rights thats to keep our people safe nothing but trouble coming here wars started by their own not our problem terrorists like hamas caused the conflict and backed by Palestinians and yiu think we should take them fkrs in no we want this stopped. Also to put tbe record straight these HOTELS are not paid for by these people its paid from mine and millions more taxes that we work hard for and if I go to another country I fkn pay for my HOTELS the people of the country i go too. Its not a hotel for these fkrs its accommodation put on by my money and millions of others so go fk yourself the majority of the British people DO NOT WANT THEM HERE . Given nhs treatment fk off scrounging c*nts shouldn't be here and if you dont lije it then feel free to fk off aswel

Ned Ma

Tim Ford as expected: more bigotry and ignorance. And you don't even know English. No further comments

Tim Ford

Ned Ma well fk off then and take those scrounging c*nts with you and hiw many fjrs thats coming here know English horrible scrounging c*nts putting our women and children at risk fk off.

Saam Amerat

According to the telegraph Israel decides whether or not free speech matters in this country.

Ned Ma

Saam Amerat not only The Telegraph. The far-right now cries foul at the state undermining free speech, but denies free speech to others and calls those who protest 'foreigners', 'terrorists', 'rapists', 'illegals', etc. Any laughing emojis?

Nathan Nay-j Jones

Ned Ma so majority of the uk is now far right is it? It seems your very out of touch with uk culture that you just simply dont understand the thoughts of its people as a majority, thats not an attack on your intelligence at all its just a sorry fact.

Ned Ma

Nathan Nay-j Jones you are the one out of touch with the country and live in a fantasy. I said the far right. The majority of the country is not far right

John Platts

Ned Ma. By "Far Right", I assume you are referring to the people who only have the best interest of their country and children at heart. Do you get your blinkers from Temu, or Ali Express ? Asking for a friend.

Ned Ma

John Platts No, far right is not that. The far right encompass people who ignore big crimes, the wars, creating refugees, British history, the plunder of the country by the tiny few, the alliances of both Labour and Conservatives with brutal dictators, admiration of criminals and murderers like Putin and Trump…and resort to bigorty, xenophobia, scapegoating, attacking a whole people because of the offences and crimes of a tiny minority, repeating and repackaging lies about universal credit, shortage of housing, cry foul at the state when their free speech is attacked but they deny that others have the right of free speech, they insult me for simply stating facts, they ask me to leave the country, they call Muslims in general 'rapists', they are bigots who throw prejudices at me although I am not even religious, open and hidden racism, they support the IDF, they are anti anything progressive in British history: critical thinking, philosophical thinking, resistance and struggle for rights…Your question itself is a bit of that prejudice.

John Platts

Ned Ma. Gosh! You really do like your own opinion

Leanne Waddy

Ned Ma You need to wind your neck in and understand that Britain will not tolerate Islamic [+ emojis of a cow and shit].

Ned Ma

Leanne Waddy What does that have to do with my comment? I am not even religious, bigot.

Leanne Waddy

Ned Ma lolz. Do you know what a bigot is? I’m guessing you don’t entirely understand the meaning.

Ned Ma

Leanne Waddy I do. I used it to refer to your mention of 'Islamic'. And you have still not answered my question.

Leanne Waddy

Ned Ma Oh my … You believe bigot refers to anyone criticising Islam [+three laughing emojies]

Ned Ma

Leanne Waddy No, I don't. You did not refer to 'Islam' (whatever that means). You used 'Islamic cow and shit'. That is not criticising 'Islam'. Criticising 'Islam' is a scholarly work that needs knowledge of history, Islamic civilisation, different types of Islam and Muslims, i.e. needs sociological readings or a course at Oxford or Edinburgh University. It is likely, and I am up for a challenge, that you know almost nothing about British history, how are you supposed to know the history of other societies.

Leanne Waddy

Ned Ma You are bleating on about ‘far right’ when you really don’t have a clue.

I’m kind of thinking you’re the bigot for you believing ‘far right’ is the oppressor in Britain

Ned Ma

Leanne Waddy Don't change the subject. Stick first to 'Islam' and 'Muslims'. Then we can deal with the far right subject. I am not the typical facebooker you know. Prove you are not a bigot.

Leanne Waddy

Ned Ma wtf are you on about love? I mean, who tf would write ‘I’m not your typical facebooker’

Islam sucks. And?

The Qarmatians (Al-Qaramita)

By Nadeem Mahjoub Documentary film-makers G. Troeller and M. C. Defarge once asked a cabinet minister in South Yemen, why socialistic ideas were so readily acceptable in that part of the Arab world. He replied: “Because we have been communists for a thousand years! My mother was Qarmatian.” Official Muslim scholars and clerics, and many so-called moderates (whether individuals or groups) oppose sedition ( fitna ). Tensions and contradictions in society should be solved peacefully and even if the ruler was unjust and impious, it is generally accepted he should still be obeyed, for any kind of order is better than anarchy and sedition. “The tyranny of a sultan for a hundred years causes less damage than one year’s tyranny exercised by the subjects against one another.” Revolt was justified only against a ruler who clearly went against the command of God and His prophet.” 1 Here we look at not what happened in the minds of people who call for calm, oppose dissent and preach the re...
"If you don't attack the economic power of the elite, soon or later it will attack you." That's what the Arab uprisings, for instance, were unable/failed to do. K for Karl – Revolution (episode 3)
"A second position argues against transition, which is transitology itself. It is well known—especially among economists—as the sudden mobilization of a considerable mass of experts who are generally foreigners, generally Western, who come to preach the good word and to propose ready-made models of democracy. The science of the transition has become a financial windfall, a market. And the word transition has of course become a reflex of language, a term of reference, a call for tenders ( appel d’offres ) to which the whole society was supposed to respond.  Consequently, the reticence that one can express is the following: our history is framed, transition is a heteronomy. Every democratic revolution is henceforth supposed to take a unique, imposed path, which is, at the same time, indistinctly democratic and liberal (or neoliberal). A more or less non-“negotiable” package.  It is necessary to highlight the imposed character (and imposed from the outside) of this coming to t...
"In the same way that Robinson [Crusoe] was able to obtain a sword, we can just as well suppose that [Man] Friday might appear one fine morning with a loaded revolver in his hand, and from then on the whole relationship of violence is reversed: Man Friday gives the orders and Crusoe is obliged  to work. . . . Thus, the revolver triumphs over the sword, and even the most childish believer in axioms will doubtless form the conclusion that violence is not a simple act of will, but needs for its realization certain very concrete preliminary conditions, and in particular the implements of violence; and the more highly developed of these implements will carry the day against primitive ones. Moreover, the very fact of the ability to produce such weapons signifies that the producer of highly developed weapons, in everyday speech the arms  manufacturer, triumphs over the producer of primitive weapons. To put it briefly, the triumph of violence depends upon the production of a...

US

Written in June: The candidate who emerged from this jumble of discontent was the man who promised to do the least. His party is now preparing to give us a national election that will be little more than a referendum on the hated Donald Trump. Finally we have a climate in which the American public would unquestionably choose dramatic change were it offered to them, and the party of change has contrived to ensure that it will not be offered. Instead our choice is between two elderly and conservative white men, both with a history of stretching the truth, both with sexual harassment accusations hanging over them, and neither representing any possibility of energetic democratic reform. The old order has been miraculously rescued once again. Such is the climate of opinion in America that, with the right leader, remarkable things would be possible. Instead we are presented with Joe Biden, an affable DC veteran with a hand in many of the defining disasters of the last 30 years: worker-c...

Against Authoritarianism and Neoliberalism in Venezuela

“The current confrontation in Venezuela today is not between left and right.” “We are witnessing the transition from a government with authoritarian tendencies to a dictatorial regime.” “This is not a government ‘backed’ by the military, but, as Maduro himself has said, the government is led by a ‘civilian-military-police alliance’. “Those who continue to support Maduro, including parties and movements of the Sao Paulo Forum or the spokespersons of Podemos in Spain, are causing severe damage to the left in the region and the world. They are damaging anti-capitalist struggles in the broadest sense.” The US embargo is ‘in violation of international law’. This is a useless statement repeated a million times, and it has come back again during the ongoing Israel’s genocidal war. “[A]fter the failure of the current, self-defined “socialist” governments, Venezuelan society tends to associate any reference to socialism or the left with the corruption and authoritarianism of the Maduro governme...
