Saudi Aramco

Saudi Aramco made almost $47bn profit in the first half of 2019 . We know where most of that profit goes. A genuine revolution means overthrowing a family-regime that has been squandering a huge wealth at home, including purchasing of weapons, and capital flight to the Western banks and using that wealth instead in real development across the Arab region, doing away with nation states. That would incorporate the Saudi women and other men and women in the Arab countries in the labour market where unemployment in some countries is high and one of the causes of the uprisings and migration.
Venezuela's crazy economics I wonder though what is this "international community" that is holding a solution to the disaster in a world dominated by a hegemon, international capital, and a continuing rise of far-right regimes.  Is the author speaking about the same "international community" that should have done something about the slaughter in Syria, the genocide in Myanmar, the detsruction in Libya, or the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, one of the worst in moder history?
Iraq We have been here before: the destruction of the Ba'th's regime state by imperialism had led to similar consequences: neglect, fuelling sectarianism, geopolitics...  Actually, those consequences have significantly determined the present situation in Iraq. "Nascent territorialism in Mosul threatens long-term reconstruction efforts by institutionalising division between traumatised populations and security actors, as well as by breeding local resentment at perceived government neglect. With insufficient military and economic resources to commit to liberated areas, the Iraqi government may struggle to reverse trends toward factionalism without sustained international assistance. Yet today, long-term international aid seems unlikely, as Baghdad’s critical foreign partners scale back post-ISIS cooperation." Rivalries threaten post-ISIS Mosul
